It’s just around the corner…First Night Raleigh 2011. The annual New Year’s Eve celebration to once again be held in downtown Raleigh is sure to be a huge success.
This Raleigh Home Inspector is planning to be there for the the musical entertainment and midnight celebration.
With acts like Flowers For Faye bringing their energy to the stage at 10:00PM at the Highway Building Auditorium, Wake Forests’ own Graffiti Monkeys kicking off at 8:30, and The Screaming Crayons who bring their unique musical interpretation to that same stage just a bit earlier at 7:15PM, how could a music lover go wrong.
If its Jazz that floats your boat, then check out The Blue Notes Dixieland Jazz Band with 8:00 and 9:00 performances at the Raleigh City Museum.
And bringing in the New Year on center stage, accompanying the Acorn Drop and the fireworks extravaganza is Donna The Buffalo….if you can’t have just a hoot of a good time with that lineup…well, make your plans to be there. It will be a hoot!
