Mr. Gentry is extremely detail oriented, implements a systems approach to home inspections, and is completely and continually aware of the importance of the role of a home inspector to both the client and to any real estate transaction.
"A home, simply defined, is a facility. Most facilities consist of a wide range of materials, components, and systems that are brought together to provide an intended function and purpose. And so, by definition, a house is a facility with the intended purpose of providing comfortable shelter. What we try to do is to provide our clients with an accurate representation concerning the physical condition of a particular house so that they can make an informed purchasing decision and be comfortable with transforming that facility into their new home. And we strive for total professionalism in that endeavor. We like to think that we view our inspection activities for our clients just as seriously as our clients view their home purchase."
Kitty B. Hicks, Vice President / Director of Marketing
Kitty Hicks has been in the Home Inspection business for over 14 years. She knows the administrative intricacies of the business as well as anyone. Kitty wears many hats. She is the "keeper of the schedule" for all of the Triangle inspectors and generally makes sure that everything is running smoothly. She has completed the EPA Radon training course and normally coordinates all of the Radon sampling activities while ensuring compliance with EPA protocol. Kittys voice is the friendly and knowledgeable voice that one first hears when contacting QRI. Her work ethic is unmatched and she will go out of her way to provide a high level of customer service.
"Buying a home is perhaps one of the most stressful endeavors that can be undertaken. I consider it such a privilege to talk with our clients, coordinate inspections, and ensure that any follow-up services are complete. Over the 15 years that we have been in business, I' have gotten to know many of our clients, since many return to have second or even third inspections when they move to larger (or in some cases smaller) homes. To be there for these people at such an important time in their lives is part of what makes my job extremely fulfilling. I am fortunate to have a job that I absolutely love."
