Radon is reported by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to be the No 2 leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S., and the EPA recommends that every home be tested.

Radon Gas in Homes Is Reported By The Environmental Protection Agency as Being The No. 2 Leading Cause of Lung Cancer
Quality Residential Inspections offers on-site sampling for new and existing homes, for the presence of Radon-In-Air, following EPA protocol for testing procedures. Your Raleigh Home Inspector will place the test devices inside the home, ensuring that all applicable testing protocols have been followed. Then, the devices will be retrieved from the property following the passage of the required amount of time. An EPA-listed laboratory is used to interpret the results and a written report is provided to the client upon completion of the testing.
This type of testing is most often accomplished during a Raleigh Home Inspection…but can be conducted as a “stand-alone” service.
